We held our company retreat (12 people) at Chalet Arpian — everything is perfect: the location, the magical view, the space for everyone. Chef Sam is a real bonus. The welcome makes you want to come back very soon — we felt at home.

1,075 square feet of shared spaces, bathed in light from dawn to dusk. The living area, the kitchen, the dining room — all open, all flowing, all together.
When we took over the house, the space was there — but it had to be set free. We removed the dropped ceiling and the dividers, completely redid the kitchen and the woodwork. And we kept the original bar from the former hotel, to preserve the soul of the place. Because a tribe needs to be able to see each other, talk to each other, cook together, play cards while others prepare dinner. Here, no one is ever alone — unless they decide to be.

The centerpiece of the living room: the wooden bar from the former restaurant, preserved intact. A drink, a book, a conversation that lingers — that's its new role.
Around it, the living room is arranged for the long hours before and after skiing. Generous sofas, woven rugs, throws within reach. And in the back, a stone fireplace — a remnant from the former hotel, kept for the character of the place.

Open onto the living area, the kitchen is designed for cooking together without getting in each other's way. Range cooker, large hood, air fryer, Nespresso machine, premium tableware, storage everywhere. Everything you need to host with ease — you, or our private chef on request.
At its center, the island: a vintage workman's cabinet restored by a local craftsman. It serves as a chopping board, a coffee bar, an aperitif table. The centerpiece of the kitchen, the one everyone touches.
And three unique pieces define the space. A natural-stone sink, carved from a 220-pound block of granite by an Italian craftsman. A natural-stone countertop. And the island, already mentioned. Three raw materials for a kitchen unlike any other.

At the heart of the dining room, a solid-wood banquet table. Around it, the original chairs from the former family restaurant, restored one by one.
Walls clad in reclaimed wood — siding by Samuel, the valley's cabinetmaker, who also crafts custom wooden skis. Textured plastered ceiling, as if you were under the snow. Woven wool pendant lights above the table. On the wall, a Slim Aarons print, for warmth. And facing you, a picture window opening onto the whole valley.
This is where the tribe gathers three times a day. Lazy breakfasts, quick lunches before skiing, dinners that stretch until midnight. All of Arpian converges here.
Each with its own character, its own light, its own story.
