June to September · Flowering pastures · Crisp air at 1,400 m

The other
Valmorel.

When the snow melts, the mountain reveals its other face: 365 km of marked trails, a Bike Park with 33 runs, flowering alpine pastures, and turquoise lakes. Arpian welcomes you year-round — and summer here is particularly beautiful.

Why summer in Valmorel

Because
the mountain, in summer,
is magic.

When the lowlands suffocate at 95°F, Valmorel breathes at 68°F. Crisp air, pine forests, icy rivers, marmots whistling in the grass. And the rare feeling of hearing nothing but the wind.

Activities

Ten ways,

Wood-fired hot tub on Arpian's terrace, no snow, late-summer mood
Summer nights

The stars
like nowhere else.

Far from city lights, light pollution is almost nonexistent in Valmorel. The Milky Way is visible to the naked eye, the nights are dark in a way you don't see anymore in the lowlands.

"A hot tub, a drink, and the sky slowly fading."

At the chalet, the south-facing terrace becomes an impromptu observatory. The hot tub switches to cold-plunge mode — cold water for recovery after trail running or mountain biking, like in Finnish saunas. The kids count satellites. Summer at Arpian is also that.
